There is something really entrancing about artists who focus on hands, some that I love are Egon Schiele and Rodin. Hands are one of the most expressive parts of our body and so much can be conveyed through these simple tools that we own. The focus on hands is something that The Colour Study is doing beautifully, there is an intimacy to the prints that needs to be appreciated.

That's why I love these minimalist line drawings from the Colour Study. There are a few that are focussed mainly on hands and arms, they are delicate and elegant, and look lovely clashing with other bolder prints on gallery walls.

The Colour Study is a London based illustration artist specialising in clean, minimal line drawings. You can buy their work directly through the artist's site, or through Society6 where there are also stationary and homewares available.
